Edmundo Costa appointed regional vice president and general manager of Latin America
Automation Anywhere®, the global leader in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), announced that the company has expanded operations in Latin America with the opening of four regional offices, a regional headquarters in Miami, Fla. and the appointment of a regional vice president who will lead the expansion.
Edmundo Costa, a member of Automation Anywhere’s leadership team since 2015, has been appointed regional vice president and general manager of Latin America. Under his leadership, the company has opened five regional offices in Bogota, Colombia; Lima, Peru; Mexico City, Mexico; Santiago, Chile and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Each regional office is staffed to deliver sales, marketing, training and customer support.
Costa previously led strategic partnerships and enterprise accounts at Automation Anywhere. A seasoned business leader in Silicon Valley, he served as CEO of Catbird, a Cybersecurity startup acquired by Cyxtera, and was part of the founding team at publicly held middleware software vendor Tarantella, acquired by Sun Microsystems. With fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Costa has a deep understanding of Latin America, having previously led software vendor, Santa Cruz Operation’s (SCO) business based out of Sao Paulo and Miami.
