What does End of Life (EOL) mean?
- When Automation 360 IQ Bot Cloud reaches End of Life (EOL) the product, updates for the product and enhancements for the product will no longer be offered to customers by Automation Anywhere.
- Additionally, IQ Bot Cloud will no longer be available for use by customers within their Control Room environments.
- At the end of the EOL period, IQ Bot Cloud will be highlighted as EOL on all product documentation, community forums, marketing material and all support portal/pages.
What does this mean for my IQ Bot Cloud renewal?
- Customers that are currently entitled for IQ Bot Cloud will no longer be able to renew it independently or as part of a bundle after the EOL date. Document Automation as a product capability will be available to Automation Anywhere customers. Document Automation provides extraction capabilities on multiple document types with various built-in capabilities such as document processing workflow, feedback based improvement & generative AI. Please work with your CSM or account team to discuss your renewal options and way forward with Document Automation.
Can I purchase IQ Bot Cloud between now and the EOL date?
- No new purchases of IQ Bot Cloud will be allowed going forward.
What happens to my learning instances and associated data on my IQ Bot Cloud instances?
- All data stored in a customers tenant and will remain there until the termination of the customer contract.
- Using IQ Bot DA Bridge package it will be possible for you to run your “As-Is” learning instance setup within Document Automation. You can export the learning instances and import them in Document Automation. For more information on this option refer to the documentation and associated recommendations on when to use this package.
How will my document extraction bots work going forward?
- Document Automation as a product capability will be available to Automation Anywhere customers. Please work with your CSM or account team to discuss your renewal options and way forward with Document Automation.
What if I am IQ Bot On-Premise customer, once the product reaches EOL will it still operate/function as it currently does?
- For IQ Bot On Premise customers - IQ Bot On Premise will continue to operate until the License Server key expires even if that date is farther out / after the EOL date.
- For IQ Bot Cloud customer - Once EOL is reached customers will no longer be able to create support cases via A-People nor will any enhancements or fixes be offered. Customer tenants will not be accessible after the EOL date and cloud services cannot be renewed or extended after the EOL date.
Can customer data be extracted?
- Yes, a customer can request an export of relevant IQ Bot Cloud data by creating a support ticket via APeople.
- Alternatively, you can also export your learning instances backup as .iqba files. Refer to the documentation.
Support SLA post EOL announcement
- Standard support levels apply for IQ Bot Cloud up until the End of Life (EOL) date arrives - from that point forward support as well as help documentation topics will no longer be available.
Product Maintenance Plan during EOL window
- IQ Bot Cloud will receive any critical security updates and patches as deemed necessary by Automation Anywhere up until the End of Life (EOL) date at which point no additional updates will be made available.
