PGGM manages the pensions of over 2 million individuals, involving a significant amount of administrative tasks such as policy changes and fund transfers. To improve efficiency and reduce costs, the company sought automation solutions. However, their proprietary pension administration systems posed challenges. In 2015, they collaborated with an external supplier but couldn't justify the costs and time required. In 2017, they switched to Automation Anywhere, whose software proved easy to use. They initially automated simple processes in pensions administration and later prioritized cost-saving initiatives for pension recipients, employees, and transfers.
