Automation Anywhere®, the leader in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), today announced the appointment of Milan Sheth as Executive Vice President for India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) region. Based in Mumbai, Sheth will be responsible for building a world-class team within the company and will lead the company through its next phase of innovation and spur exponential growth in the IMEA region.

In his new role, Sheth will help companies expedite their digital transformation journey by realizing the combined power of RPA and artificial intelligence (AI) to automate mundane business processes. Milan’s appointment follows Automation Anywhere’s continued investment in helping businesses across IMEA leverage cognitive software automation, which is experiencing rapid adoption globally.

Prior to joining Automation Anywhere, Sheth was with Ernst & Young (EY) for over 18 years and most recently served as the senior partner and national director for technology business. He led a team of more than 2000 partners, directors, and consultants serving Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications. Additionally, he was the global co-lead for the company’s Intelligent Automation Practice for the past three years and managed the EY’s business in emerging markets
